Finally I am on web!

Did I tell you that I finally bought a domain and started building my web presence?

Here are some of the tools that I am using to build this site:

1. I use VMWare player to run a Fedora core 2 image which is hosting the LAMP environment.

2. Macromedia Dreamweaver helps me a bit in debugging the page layout otherwise I use it only as an editor and a convinient way to FTP the files

3. FTP tool to upload the files on public site

4. Notepad

I do not know right now how do I plan to populate the website , I am just learning web 2.0 right now and having a paid live domain helps keep me motivated.

So if you plan to learn web techs, make sure to get a paid domain first.
